Circular Polarizer Filter — Compatible with Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 45mm f/1.2 Pro

Made for use with the Olympus 45mm f/1.2 Pro M.Zuiko Digital ED, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter features an ultra-slim aluminum frame that minimizes vignetting while still allowing full rotation to fine-tune polarization. A nonslip upper rim gives a secure grip for straightforward installation, rotation and removal. Both glass surfaces are treated with double-sided, multi-layered coatings and are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. As a CPL, the filter removes unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass and improves color and contrast—commonly used to deepen blue skies and enhance white clouds. The filter works by arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light so much of the glare is absorbed, which also reduces haze in distant landscapes and yields more saturated, vivid colors. The effect is strongest when the filter is positioned at a 90° angle from the sun.
