A nonslip upper rim makes mounting, turning and removal simple and secure. The optical glass is protected by double-sided, multi-layered coatings and is anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. Use the CPL to cut unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, boost color saturation and contrast, deepen blue skies and brighten white clouds, and reduce atmospheric haze in distant landscapes. The filter works by arranging and filtering directionally polarized light so that much of the reflected light is absorbed; its effect is strongest when positioned at a 90° angle to the sun.
