Designed with an ultra-slim aluminum frame to prevent vignetting while still allowing free rotation for level adjustments. A nonslip upper rim makes it easy to install, rotate and remove the filter. The glass features double sided, multi-layered coatings, and is anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. Circular CPL filters remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, etc., and are commonly used to boost color and contrast. They are especially effective at increasing contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds, clearing haze in distant landscapes and producing richer, more vivid colors. Optically, CPL filters arrange and filter directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of the light. The filter delivers its strongest effect when used at a 90° angle from the sun.
