Circular Polarizing (CPL) Filter — Compatible with Nikon PC-E NIKKOR 24mm f/3.5D ED

Made for use with the Nikon PC-E NIKKOR 24mm f/3.5D ED, this circular polarizer reduces unwanted glare from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass while improving color depth and contrast. The ultra-slim aluminum frame is designed to prevent vignetting and still permit rotation for leveling adjustments; a nonslip upper rim makes it simple to mount, rotate and remove. Optical glass is treated with double-sided, multi-layered coatings and is anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, and scratch & water resistant. By arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, the CPL absorbs much of the reflected glare, clears haze in distant landscapes and produces richer, more saturated colors — with the strongest effect when used at a 90° angle from the sun. Often employed to deepen blue skies and enhance contrast in white clouds.
