Circular Polarizing (CPL) Filter Compatible with Olympus 40-150mm f/4-5.6 ED Zuiko Digital

Made for the Olympus 40-150mm f/4-5.6 ED Zuiko Digital, this circular polarizer uses an ultra-slim aluminum frame to prevent vignetting while preserving full rotation for level adjustment. A nonslip upper rim makes it easy to install, rotate and remove. Both sides are finished with double sided, multi-layered coatings and the surface is anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. As a CPL, it removes unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass and enhances color and contrast. Frequently employed to deepen blue skies and make white clouds stand out, the filter arranges and filters directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of the light. It also clears haze in distant landscapes and produces more saturated, vivid colors, with the strongest effect when used at a 90° angle from the sun.
