Low-profile circular polarizer engineered for use with the Pentax HD PENTAX-D FA 70-210mm f/4 ED SDM WR lens. The ultra-slim aluminum frame minimizes vignetting while still permitting smooth rotation for precise angle adjustments. A nonslip upper rim makes mounting, rotating and removing the filter quick and secure. The glass features double-sided, multi-layered coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil and both scratch- and water-resistant. As a Circular CPL, it reduces unwanted reflections from non‑metallic surfaces such as water and glass, improves color saturation and contrast, and often deepens blues in skies and brightens white clouds. By filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflections, the filter absorbs much of the reflected light, clearing haze in distant scenes and producing more vivid, saturated colors. The effect is strongest when the filter is set at a 90° angle to the sun.
