Circular Polarizing (CPL) Filter — Compatible With Sony 28mm F2.8

Made for Sony 28mm F2.8, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter eliminates unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass while enhancing overall color and contrast. It is commonly used to deepen the saturation and contrast of blue skies and white clouds, clear haze in distant landscapes, and deliver more vivid, saturated tones — with the strongest effect when positioned at a 90° angle from the sun. The CPL element arranges and filters directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, allowing much of that light to be absorbed. Construction features an ultra-slim aluminum frame that avoids vignetting while maintaining rotation capabilities for adjusting levels, plus a nonslip upper rim for easier installation, rotation and removal.
