Circular Polarizing (CPL) Filter — Compatible With Sony DT 35mm F1.8 SAM

This Circular CPL filter reduces unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass while boosting color depth and contrast. It’s commonly used to enhance the saturation and contrast of blue skies and white clouds and helps clear atmospheric haze for more vivid distant landscapes. The filter operates by arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing much of that reflected light to be absorbed; the strongest effect is achieved when shooting at a 90° angle from the sun. Built with an ultra-slim aluminum frame to prevent vignetting, the design still allows smooth rotation for precise adjustment. A nonslip upper rim makes installation, rotation and removal simple. The glass features double sided, multi-layered coatings and is anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant.
