Circular Polarizing (CPL) Filter for Sony FE 50mm F2.5 G

Made for the Sony FE 50mm F2.5 G, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter uses an ultra-slim aluminum frame to prevent vignetting while preserving full rotation for level and exposure adjustments. A nonslip upper rim makes it easy to mount, rotate and remove the filter. Both surfaces feature double-sided, multi-layered coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. The CPL removes unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass, increases color saturation and contrast (notably enriching blue skies and white clouds), and reduces haze in distant landscapes. The filter works by arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light so much of that light is absorbed; the effect is strongest when used at a 90° angle to the sun.
