Circular (CPL) polarizer built for use with the Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM to control reflections and boost image color. The ultra-slim aluminum frame prevents vignetting on wide-angle settings while remaining rotatable so you can adjust polarization precisely. A nonslip upper rim makes mounting, turning and removing the filter quick and secure. Optical glass features double-sided, multi-layered coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, and resistant to scratches and water. Use the CPL to cut glare from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, increase contrast and saturation (especially between blue skies and white clouds), reduce haze in distant landscapes, and render richer, more vivid colors. The filter works by arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, allowing much of that unwanted light to be absorbed; it produces the strongest effect when positioned about 90° from the sun.
