Circular Polarizing Filter Compatible with Pentax SMC DA 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 ED AL (IF) DC WR Lens

Designed for use with the Pentax SMC DA 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 ED AL (IF) DC WR Lens, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter eliminates unwanted reflections on non-metallic surfaces like water and glass while intensifying color and contrast. The ultra-slim aluminum frame minimizes vignetting yet still maintains rotation capabilities for adjusting levels. A nonslip upper rim makes mounting, rotating and removing the filter simple and secure. Both sides receive multi-layered coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, and scratch & water resistant. CPL technology filters directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, allowing much of the glare to be absorbed — clearing haze in distant scenes and producing richer, more saturated skies and clouds. The effect is strongest when the filter is used at a 90° angle to the sun.
