Designed for use with the Nikon PC-E Micro-NIKKOR 45mm f/2.8D ED, this circular polarizer features an ultra-slim aluminum frame that prevents vignetting while still allowing full rotation to level shots. A nonslip upper rim makes mounting, turning and removal quick and easy. Double sided, multi-layered coatings, anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. As a Circular CPL, the filter cuts reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass and improves overall color and contrast. Photographers often employ it to deepen blue skies and increase the saturation and contrast of white clouds. By arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, the filter absorbs much of that reflected light, reducing haze in distant landscapes and producing more vivid, saturated colors. For the strongest polarizing effect aim to shoot with the filter at roughly a 90° angle to the sun.
