Important: the device will NOT display, record, or live stream HDMI sources that are copyrighted or content-protected; those signals will appear as a black screen. Store recordings directly on removable media — MP4 video files can be saved to a USB Flash Drive (up to 1 TB), MicroSD Card (up to 512 GB), or a USB Hard Drive (up to 4 TB) — and play them back straight from the device to your TV via HDMI. For audio-only capture, record MP3 files from either a 3.5mm Aux input or an HDMI source. No computer is required to record, store, or play back files.
