Transforms composite AV RCA signals (yellow/red/white) into HDMI output at 720P or 1080P with audio; compatible with both PAL and NTSC formats. Beyond simple conversion, the AV2HD Converter 2.0 (Second Generation) can record AV video sources directly to a USB Flash Drive (Not Included) as real HD MP4 video files in either 720P or 1080P resolution. Key capabilities added in Version 2.0: actual HD recording (720P or 1080P) saved as MP4 to USB Flash Drive (Not Included); selectable aspect ratio (use 16:9 for widescreen or 4:3 to preserve fullscreen without stretching); a microphone input port for adding an audio overlay. Included in the box are a wall power adapter, AV cable, and HDMI cable. Note: This device converts AV -> HDMI only. It is not an HDMI -> AV converter and cannot accept or record HDMI video sources.
