Coolnut MT1 Lathe Tailstock Threading & Tapping Attachment — Die Holder Set

Made from durable Steel, this Coolnut attachment converts your lathe tailstock into a threading and tapping tool. It features an accurately ground MT1 Shank that seats in the tailstock and positions the holder assembly while the workpiece is secured in the rotating chuck. Threading dies are installed into the interchangeable die holders, available in sizes 13/16 inch, 1 inch, and 1-1/2 inch. Internal bore threading and tapping is performed with the included tap wrench; compatible tap ranges are 1/16 inch to 1/4 inch and 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch. The tool is designed so the tap wrench is advanced toward the spinning workpiece in the chuck to cut internal threads safely and precisely.
