Package included: Bottom PLA case × 2 + Top PLA plate × 2 + Low profile Hotswap PCB × 2 + Button Battery × 2 + 2.4 Ghz Connectors. This kit is a DIY-ready Corne V4.1 split keyboard package. You will need to supply switches and keycaps yourself to assemble a working board. Only Kailh Choc 1350 and 1353 series switches can be used. The PLA parts are non-toxic and environmentally friendly. Software and programmability: Supports Vial software for full key mapping and layer programming. The Corne platform is highly programmable — compatible firmware choices include QMK and ZMK (useful for wireless builds) — enabling layers, macros, Mod-Tap, Tap Dance and other advanced behaviors. Ergonomics and layout: The true split design lets you position each half shoulder-width apart to reduce hunching and shoulder strain. The column-staggered key arrangement follows the natural finger alignment to cut down on stretching and lateral movement. The halves can be tented to tilt the inner edges upward, encouraging a neutral wrist posture and reducing ulnar deviation. Customization & build options: As an open-source design, the Corne supports extensive customization. While this particular kit ships with low-profile hot-swap PCBs, there are PCB variants available in the community (hot-swap for no-solder assembly and solder versions for those who prefer permanent wiring). Note that although many Corne variants accept MX-style switches, this kit specifically requires Kailh Choc 1350 and 1353 series low-profile switches.
