Black Corne V4.1 split keyboard built for ergonomic comfort, consisting of separate left and right-hand units and presented as a full upgrade from the V3 model. This wired board uses hot-swappable MX mechanical switches and hot-swappable shaft sockets so keys can be changed without soldering. PCBs come pre-soldered to simplify construction, allowing beginners to finish assembly in approximately one hour. Compatible with both MX and Choc V1 dual specification shafts, each switch uses a five-pin gold-plated shaft pin and the sockets are rated for over 50 plug and unplug cycles per year. The keyboard ships with pre-installed QMK/VIAL dual firmware. Vial web tools provide real-time customization of key positions, macro commands, and RGB effects — removing the need for repeated program flashing. Connectivity is handled via a USB-C dual line connection solution to improve data transmission stability. Lighting is fully customizable with independent per-key RGB backlighting supporting 16.8 million colors and a low-brightness breathing mode for night use, designed to balance lighting effects with eye protection. Four shaft options are available: black, tea, red, and grey wood, giving enhanced flexibility for personalized setups and easy customization during assembly.
