Single pre-assembled round ceiling speaker (model CSS8018) with an 8 inch driver and white grille. Includes a 10 watt multi-tap transformer for 100V, 70V and 25V distributed lines and is supplied as a complete speaker/transformer/grille assembly. High 97 dB sensitivity delivers maximum sound levels even at low tap settings while the unit handles up to 20 W of RMS power. Coverage is a wide 110 degree conical pattern, making this speaker ideal for paging and background music in retail stores, restaurants, schools and similar facilities. Frequency response (‑10 dB): Driver/Grille Assembly: 50 Hz – 17 kHz; Installed in CSS-BB back-can: 90 Hz – 17 kHz. Optional matching back-cans (CSS-BB8) are available, constructed from zinc-plated steel with a powder-coated finish for code ratings and improved acoustic control. Mechanical details: Bolt mounting circle to back-can: 4 points on 11.25 inch diameter. Cutout diameter (open-back): 8.5 inch. Sold as a single speaker (not a pair).
