Cutrine Plus Granular Algaecide 12 lb

Cutrine-Plus Granular Algaecide an Algaecide/Herbicide ideal for planktonic and filamentous algae, Chara and Hydrilla. Has no general water use restrictions at label rates. Ideal for bottom growing filamentous algae, Chara and Nitella. The ethanolamines in Cutrine-Plus Granular Algaecide prevent the precipitation of copper with carbonates and bicarbonates in the water. Waters treated with Cutrine-Plus Granular Algaecide may be used for swimming, fishing, drinking water treatment, livestock watering or irrigating turf, ornamental plants or crops following treatment. Active ingredient is 3.7% copper as elemental (copper-ethanolamine). Application rate is 60 lbs. per surface acre or 1 lb. per 720 square feet (72' x 10'). Product Label Begins to work immediately on contact to break down algae's cellular structure. Controls planktonic algae in 1 to 2 days, filamentous algae in 3 to 4 days. Surface application is most practical for treatment of surface and sub-surface algae. Cutrine Plus Granular is dry and is easily applied using a gloved hand or scoop. For use in lakes, potable water reservoirs, ponds, fish hatcheries, crop and non-crop irrigation, conveyance systems (ditches, canals and laterals).
