D/S-CIJ3 Consumer Input Jacks — Mono

The D/S-CIJ3 passively mixes two unbalanced consumer line sources into a single mono line, deliverable as a balanced or unbalanced output. This compact unbalanced line-level audio input module accepts consumer-level sources on the front panel via two gold plated phono jacks or a single stereo mini-jack; an input may be applied to either the RCA phonos or the mini-jack. Left and right channels are summed and then balanced using audio transformers that are arranged to reject induced hum, providing transformer isolation for unbalanced line inputs without adding gain. A mono line-level output is provided on a rear-panel detachable terminal block for feeding equipment or another line-level module with an input impedance of 10 k? or higher.
