Power-only adapter that uses DeWalt 20V MAX batteries to drive tools designed for the Hercules 20V platform. This unit supplies one-way power only — it does not charge any battery and will not enable Hercules batteries to power DeWalt 20V tools. Compatibility limits: Not suitable for the Hercules 20V Heat Gun, the Hercules 2-Stage Vacuum Pump (20V), or any 12V tools. Also incompatible with Black and Decker 20V batteries due to latch and configuration differences from DeWalt batteries. Battery protection: Built-in battery management system (BMS) provides low-voltage cutoff, shutting off output when the battery voltage falls below safe levels. For best performance, use a fully charged DeWalt 20V MAX battery before operation. Construction and installation: Rugged ABS injection-molded housing with integrated PCB and dependable contact terminals. Compact form with yellow-black color coding to help ensure correct insertion. Development: Refined through two years of internal testing with Hercules 20V-compatible tools; most commonly used models passed compatibility checks, with the exception of the heat gun and vacuum pump.
