DP-666 TEF6686 High-Sensitivity Full-Band Receiver Radio with Antenna — 2.8-inch Display, 5000mAH (Black)
The DP-666 is a portable, full-band receiver built around NXP’s automotive-grade TEF6686 chip, offering ultra-high sensitivity and excellent selectivity. It leverages advanced algorithms (CEQ, EMS, PACS, noise canceller) and SDR (software-defined radio) signal processing to greatly improve handling of multipath, adjacent-frequency interference, and weak signals. This radio is implemented on PE5PVB’s open-source TEF6686_ESP32 project and delivers a wide set of features: near-complete RDS (Radio Data System) data display, automatic and manual station scanning, squelch control, battery voltage readout, theme customization, multilingual support, station presets, and more. Hardware was reworked referencing the TEF6686 front-end receiving circuit. The DP-666 includes a 2.8-inch LCD color screen with resistive touch for rich on-device information (RDS display requires support from local stations), a numeric keypad for fast frequency entry, and a large-capacity 5000mAH battery for extended standby. The unit ships with an antenna and is finished in black.
