Add convenient remote operation to any Empire remote-ready fireplace, insert or stove with this battery-operated on/off remote and receiver safety pilot kit. A two-button handheld remote lets you switch the burner ON and OFF from across the room; flame height is still set manually using the valve knob (low to high). Both the receiver and the handheld remote are battery-powered, so no wiring to the fireplace is required, and the system will continue to operate during power outages. Requires batteries for the receiver and for the handheld remote.
