The Epson TM S1000 is a compact, high-quality CIS document scanner engineered for small businesses and RDC (Remote Deposit Capture) deployments. It supports CIS capture with selectable resolutions of 100 dpi, 120 dpi and 200 dpi, offers black-and-white mode plus 256-shade grayscale, and can perform duplex scanning at 200 dpi x 200 dpi. Transport speed is 500mm/sec (19.68 inches), and the unit connects via USB 2.0. Built-in features include an electronic endorsement system that can place a logo, graphics or True Type Font anywhere on the image, plus a true franker with a life of 18,000 sheets.
