Compact travel gimbal built for smartphones. The FeiyuTech VB4 folds down to 6.3" and weighs just 11.8 oz, thanks to a nylon-and-fiber construction that’s made for carrying. It still offers an integrated 8.5" extension rod, supports a 9.2 oz payload, and ships with a 1/4"-20 compact tripod for quick tabletop setups. Intuitive controls on the VB4 include a thumb joystick, a multifunction knob that can manage focus/zoom or adjust axes, an M button to switch orientations, a trigger for locking or re-centering, and dedicated album review and shutter buttons. Status indicator lights give at-a-glance feedback while you shoot. Flexible shooting modes let you adapt to the scene: switch to underslung mode for low-angle footage when holding the gimbal upside down, or hold it horizontally to automatically switch your phone to landscape. Multiple follow behaviors are available: Pan and Tilt Follow (default) follows your pan and tilt while locking roll; Pan Follow locks roll and tilt and follows panning only; FPV mode lets all three axes follow your motion; and Lock mode fixes the camera orientation against pan, tilt, and roll. Connectivity and expandability are handled via Bluetooth pairing with the Feiyu ON app (iOS and Android), which enables photo/video toggling, panorama, time-lapse, dolly zoom, firmware updates, and remote camera control. AI tracking and gesture control can be enabled when pairing an optional AI Intelligent Tracking Module using the USB-C expansion port on the phone mount. Feiyu also offers a magnetic fill light that connects to that same expansion port. The grip contains a dedicated USB-C charging port for the internal battery.
