A compact on-camera speedlight built for Sony cameras: the Flashpoint Zoom II AA TTL R2 packs advanced lighting control into a portable package. It supports High-Speed Sync up to 1/8000s for fast-shutter flash work and runs on universally available, inexpensive AA 1.5V batteries, delivering up to 330 full-power flashes per set. The built-in R2 Radio Transceiver enables wireless control and full compatibility with Sony’s TTL system, and the unit can function as an R2 TTL transmitter or receiver for off-camera setups. The flash head offers a 20-200mm auto-zoom, a pull-out wide-angle diffuser, 120-degree tilt and 330-degree rotation to cover a wide range of framing and bounce possibilities. Designed for ease of use on the camera shoe, it includes a level lock hot shoe foot clamp, a backlit matrix LCD and multipurpose buttons with digital marking for quick navigation.
