For Audi A5 2GMMI 8.9" Linux Touchscreen Car Stereo — Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto GPS Multimedia Radio

Compatibility: Designed for Audi A5 model years 2008-2016 with the 2G MMI system. This unit is NOT compatible with 3G MMI systems and does NOT fit Audi Q5. It only works with Concert or Symphony radios — if your vehicle has a radio control knob located between the LCD screen and the climate control panel and the radio is labeled Concert or Symphony, this is the correct unit. What it replaces and adds: This 8.9 inch Linux system touchscreen replaces the factory screen while preserving the OEM system. It upgrades the interface with wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and MirrorLink for iOS and Android devices. The display is a 1600x600 HD touchscreen for clearer visuals. Audio & camera support: Sound from the new touchscreen is routed through the AUX & AMI channels. The unit supports the factory reverse camera as well as aftermarket reverse cameras. It does not support DVRs or aftermarket front cameras. Preserves factory features: The upgrade keeps all original factory functions — original car radio, amplifier operation, factory joystick control, original reversing camera and other built-in features remain functional. Controls: In addition to responsive touch input, the screen works with your steering wheel control buttons, including the voice control and Tel buttons. Installation notes: Installation requires removal of the dashboard to access and connect wiring.
