Material and durability: The gasket rope is constructed from temperature-rated fiberglass with good corrosion resistance, and the included high-temperature adhesive improves the reliability of the seal. Recommended lengths: Forge 1500/3500 uses 6.5 ft; 4030/5036 uses 8 ft; 6048 uses 9 ft. Installation: Remove the old damaged rope and clean debris from the door channel, cut the new rope to the correct length, apply the high-temperature sealant, press the rope into position, and make sure the rope ends meet so the gasket remains tight.
