The FX-AUDIO- DA06 is an MQA Full Expansion audio decoder built around dual AKM4493SEQ flagship DAC chips and an XMOS XU316 Super Decoding engine. It delivers native hardware decoding up to 768kHz/32Bit and DSD512 for high-resolution playback. A dedicated AKM4118AEQ master clock and OPA1612*2 op-amps are employed in the analog stage to preserve detail and musicality. This Hi-Res True Balanced DAC offers both balanced and single-ended outputs: XLR (true balanced circuit) at 5Vrms and RCA at 2.6Vrms. Using the XLR balanced connection to a compatible amplifier increases dynamic headroom and lowers background noise, contributing to a measured dynamic range of up to 120dB. Wireless sources are handled by Bluetooth 5.1 with the QCC5125 chip, supporting LDAC, SBC, AAC, aptX, aptXLL, and aptX HD for up to Bluetooth 24-bit/96 kHz transmission. A 3.9-inch TFT color screen displays format and status information. Multiple digital inputs (USB, Bluetooth, optical, coaxial) make the DA06 easy to pair with Blu-ray players, smart TVs and other transports. It can also be used as an external D/A decoder for CD players, improving density, resolution and subtle detail when the unit performs pure D/A conversion.
