GIGABYTE MZ32-AR0 Server Motherboard — Socket SP3 (Extended ATX) for AMD EPYC
Overview: The GIGABYTE MZ32-AR0 is built for AMD EPYC Rome platforms and optimized for next-generation I/O, memory, storage and remote management in rack or dense server deployments. High-speed I/O: This platform is PCIe Gen 4.0 ready, delivering up to 64GB/s of bandwidth — double the throughput of PCIe Gen 3.0 — enabling higher-performance connectivity for GPUs, NVMe storage and high-speed NICs. It is ready to support PCIe Gen 4.0 devices including AMD's Radeon MI50 GPGPU. Memory support: Compatible with AMD EPYC 7002 Series processors, the board provides eight DDR4 memory channels and supports RDIMM or LRDIMM modules at speeds up to 3200MHz (1 DIMM per channel) for improved memory throughput. Storage expandability: The MZ32-AR0 offers increased M.2 capacity for ultra-fast NVMe storage via onboard M.2 slots and additional M.2 options available through optional riser cards. Processor thermal support: Designed to accommodate the full AMD EPYC Rome 7002 Series lineup, the motherboard supports processors up to 225W (standard TDP) / 240W (cTDP). Security: The board is designed to support discrete Trusted Platform Modules (TPM 2.0) for on-board cryptographic functions. Reliability and components: GIGABYTE uses carefully selected passive components to ensure a stable operating environment, maximizing processor and memory performance while providing long-term reliability and durability for server use. Server management: GIGABYTE Server Management (GSM) is provided as GIGABYTE’s remote management software platform and is available as a free download from each product page. A GSM Mobile app is also available for iOS and Android to manage servers from mobile devices. Cooling and fan control: Dynamic fan speed control is enabled — individual fans are automatically adjusted based on temperature readings from multiple sensors (CPU, DIMM, M.2, HDD, GPU). The BMC responds to temperature changes by changing fan speeds, and users can create or edit custom fan speed profiles when needed.
