The GL-MT3000 (Beryl AX) is a compact travel router that combines pocket-sized Wi‑Fi 6 connectivity with a 2.5G port — built for business travel, mobile/RV life, cruises and in-flight use. It works as a portable hotspot or a mini router to secure and share internet access wherever you go. VPN CLIENT & SERVER: OpenVPN and WireGuard come pre-installed and the device is compatible with 30+ VPN service providers (active subscription required). Log into your existing VPN account on Beryl AX and it will encrypt traffic for every device on the local network. Max. VPN speed of 150 Mbps (OpenVPN); 300 Mbps (WireGuard). Speed tests were performed on a local network; actual performance will vary with your network setup. OpenWrt 21.02 FIRMWARE: Beryl AX runs OpenWrt 21.02 and supports more than 5,000 ready-made plug-ins for extensive customization. Manage packages through the Beryl AX Admin Panel’s no-code interface to browse, install and configure functionality without touching the command line. PROTECT YOUR NETWORK SECURITY: Enhanced defenses include WPA3 to help prevent password brute-force attacks; DNS over HTTPS & DNS over TLS to keep DNS queries private and protected from interception; and IPv6 with built-in authentication to enhance privacy and remove the need for network address translation.
