Globalstar SmartOne C Satellite Asset Tracker — Portable Global Tracking with Geo-Fencing

Overview: The Globalstar SmartOne C delivers satellite tracking across more than 120 countries and extensive ocean coverage, keeping you connected where cellular networks cannot reach. Built for rugged field use, it is dust- and water-resistant and designed for monitoring vehicles and mobile equipment covertly or permanently. Messaging Modes: - Standard Messaging Mode: Reports GPS position at fixed intervals set during setup. The message interval is configurable in 1 minute intervals from 35 minutes up to 45 days. Messages can be sent whether the asset is stationary or moving, or the unit can be set to transmit only while in motion, with transmissions as frequent as every 5 minutes. - Reduced Messaging Mode: Lowers satellite transmission costs by using a minimal message interval when the asset is stationary or inside a defined zone, and switching to a higher reporting rate when movement or location changes are detected. - Theft Recovery / Geo-Fencing Mode: Lets you define authorized versus unauthorized movement. While the asset remains authorized, the SmartOne C sends infrequent updates; if it detects unauthorized movement (for example, leaving a predefined area) it can switch to high-frequency reporting for close monitoring. Geo-Fencing & Mapping: When used with OSAT Track (OSAT’s online mapping portal) you can create geographic boundaries and receive email alerts when the device enters or leaves those zones. Power & Installation: The tracker installs easily in the field without harnesses, external antennas or a wired power connection. It can be powered either from an external power supply or from 4 "off the shelf" AA 1.5V lithium batteries (included). Using internal lithium batteries makes the SmartOne C fully portable and simple to relocate between assets; the device can operate for up to 3 years on internal batteries. Applications: Customisable for cost-effective tracking of cars, trucks, trailers, cargo containers, construction equipment, boats and any other mobile asset. Integration & Service: SmartOne trackers require a mapping portal to receive messages; our OSAT Tracking portal is a ready option for messaging and real-time location data. If you already use a corporate or third-party mapping portal, SmartOne plans can integrate with those systems for a one-off additional charge.
