Overview: The GMMK PRO 75% Barebones (Frame Only) is a modular TKL-style mechanical keyboard platform designed for enthusiasts who want a customizable, durable base to build from. The chassis is finished in black and weighs 3.3lb, providing a solid foundation and premium feel. Construction & Feel: The case is CNC machined from a single block of solid aluminum for added rigidity and longevity compared with plastic housings. Anodization on the exterior gives the surface a satin touch and increased scratch resistance. Under the key area sits an aluminum plate that delivers a consistent, stable typing experience while protecting internal components from debris. Hotswap Flexibility: The GMMK PRO features a 5-Pin hotswap socket design so you can install either 3-pin or 5-pin MX-compatible mechanical switches without soldering. It accepts popular switch brands including Kailh, Gateron, and Cherry. A switch puller is included to make swapping switches fast and easy. Modular Appearance & Parts: The top frame, rotary knob, and cable are all designed to be replaceable so you can change the keyboard’s look and feel with compatible aftermarket parts engineered for an exact fit. The keyboard supports RGB lighting and is built to be redesigned to suit your style. Acoustic & Plate Options: The board ships with a preinstalled aluminum switch plate, but you can swap it for other plate materials to alter typing response and sound—choose a Brass plate for a firmer, brighter tone or a Polycarbonate plate for a softer feel and deeper sound.
