Durable filter media engineered to support rapid bacterial colonization; each jumbo bioball measures approximately 1.5" x 1.25" in diameter. The high surface-area, textured design provides ample attachment points for beneficial microbes and delivers long service life in biological filtration systems. Includes a free beneficial bacteria jump start to accelerate system maturation. Commonly used in hatcheries, tropical fish farms, koi ponds, wastewater systems, cooling towers and other commercial or industrial water clarification applications.
