Built for pros, this monopod uses 10-layer carbon fiber tubing for outstanding stiffness, strength, and vibration damping while remaining remarkably light at just 1.1 lb (480g). CNC-machined aluminum alloy hardware with an anodized finish adds corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability. The leg folds down to 18.5 inches for travel and extends to 66.9 inches when in use. A 5-section twist-lock system provides quick, secure setup and breakdown. Despite its light weight, the monopod carries up to 26 lb (12 kg); the 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter helps reduce torsional flex for stable support of heavy DSLR and mirrorless telephoto setups. Comfort and handling features include a foam grip, safety wrist strap, and an interchangeable rubber foot and steel spike to suit different ground conditions. The mounting platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads so you can use a variety of heads; install the supplied ball head for full control. The included ball head is CNC-machined, offers fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, supports 17.6 lb, and provides 360° panning, tilt adjustment, a U-notch for fast vertical orientation, dual bubble levels, and indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas. When the monopod and ball head are used together the combined load capacity is 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
