Fifth-generation all-in-one infrared remote: the Highcool RM5plus supports over 5,000 IR devices including TVs, air conditioners, fans, set-top boxes and more. It works exclusively with IR signals at IR 38KHz and does not support RF, Bluetooth, or any non-IR 38KHz protocols. Remote access via Wi-: connect the RM5plus to your home network using 2.4GHz Wi- only (not compatible with 5GHz or mixed routers). Note that Wi- SSID and password must be under 32 characters for successful setup. Once connected you can power up your AC before you arrive or switch off appliances when you’re away. Hands-free voice control with built-in microphone: use voice assistants to control your TV, change channels or adjust your air conditioner. Voice commands operate preset functions configured in the app; buttons learned manually through the app cannot be controlled directly by third-party voice devices. Smart scenes and automation: create one-touch scenes to operate multiple devices together (for example TV, speakers and DVD player), set a ‘Leave’ mode to turn everything off with a single tap, and schedule timers to automate routines. Manual IR learning with 'UserDefine': if your device isn’t in the database, use the 'UserDefine' panel to teach and save commands from the original remote—ideal for older or uncommon IR equipment. Remember that RM5plus uses infrared signals, which require line-of-sight and cannot pass through walls or furniture, so place and use it in the same room as your appliances.
