Made from aircraft grade aluminum for long-lasting strength and to accommodate non-plumb walls. These French cleat hangers (also referred to as clips, hangers, or wall cleats) include a built-in insert — place the insert into the cleat while positioning the item and remove it before locking an additional cleat. Capacity: .7" size — recommended maximum 90 lbs per 1 pair. Fastening: install two long screws per cleat; for added security use two pairs (one at the top and one at the bottom). Holes are punched 1" apart; we supply the necessary screws and fasteners (not for every hole). There are more screw holes than required, so you do not need to fasten every hole; you may add extra screws to increase holding strength and should space screws evenly across the cleat. Installation typically requires only a drill and a screwdriver and takes just a few minutes.
