HPE C7976A LTO-6 Data Cartridge — 10 Pack

C7976A HPE LTO-6 tape media, sold in a 10 pack. Each cartridge provides 2.5 TB native capacity and up to 6.25 TB compressed capacity per tape (6.25 TB per tape). Designed for use in HP StoreEver and non-HP LTO-6 drives. Rated transfer rates are 160 MB/s (native) and up to 400 MB/s (2.5:1) when using Generation 6 Metal Particle (MP) technology. The media supports the Linear Tape File System (LTFS) for simplified file access. Mechanical design features include a simplified tape path to minimize wear, a reinforced 'smart grabber' and mechanical interlock to prevent the leader pin from being pulled inside the cartridge (a common failure mode on DLT media), and sensors that confirm proper connection to avoid leader loss that could render a tape unusable.
