These ICC Category 6 (CAT6) slim patch cords are constructed with UTP 28 AWG stranded pure bare copper wire for excellent conductivity and flexibility while minimizing bulk in high-density patching areas. Each cable includes a clear transparent boot for a uniform appearance with the modular plug; the boot prevents the retaining clip from snagging neighboring cables, limits over-bending at the plug, and helps avoid crushing conductors against one another. Wired to T568B and factory tested to exceed TIA performance standards, the cables support Gigabit Ethernet with up to 250 MHz bandwidth and data rates of 10/100/1000 Mbps, and they support Power over Ethernet (PoE) Type 2 up to 30W. Compatible with hubs, routers, switches, computers, patch panels, RJ45 keystone connectors, DSL/cable modems, gaming devices, and other networking equipment that use an RJ45 8-position 8-conductor Ethernet port.
