Overview: 3KW electric thermostat designed for swimming pools, bathtubs, spas, massage baths and hot tubs. Features an ultra-high temperature protection switch to prevent overheating and protect users. Initial setup and safety check: After installation, perform safety checks before first use. Fill the tub to the proper water level and start the system so the thermostat can self-check. Let the unit run until the thermostat reaches its highest stabilized setting and the indicator lights go out. Verify the water temperature with an accurate thermometer — it should read 40 °C. Automatic control and operation: The thermostat runs fully automatically. Turning the control clockwise powers the heater and the indicator light comes on. When the preset temperature is reached, the unit holds that temperature. Heating cycles restart automatically when the water cools a few degrees below the set point. Temperature limits and behavior: The device is intended to maintain water at or below 40 °C (104 °F). If the system is started with cold water, the temperature will rise at approximately 6 ~ 8 °C/h. For safety, an ultra-high temperature cutoff will trip and cut power if the water exceeds 49 °C.
