IMX296 1.6MP Global Shutter Camera Module — C/CS Mount for RPI, Supports Long & Short Zoom Lenses

This global-shutter camera module uses the IMX296 sensor to deliver 1.6MP images tailored for Raspberry Pi projects. Its global shutter captures fast-moving subjects without the rolling-shutter “jelly” artifacts, making it well suited for high-speed photography and machine vision tasks. The sensor features large 3.45μm×3.45μm pixels, offering strong light sensitivity and allowing reliable operation at short exposure times for motion-critical applications. Mounting is flexible: the module includes a C-to-CS adapter and accepts industrial C or CS mount lenses, including long and short zoom options. (Raspberry Pi Zero or Computing Module series require an additional adapter cable.)
