12V/24V Modified Sine Wave Inverter 60Hz — 600W/1500W/2000W/2500W (300W/500W/800W/1000W Continuous) Portable Vehicle & Home Converter with US Socket
Compact power inverter for vehicle and household use with multiple built-in protections and a US socket. Ideal for powering resistive loads and many general-purpose devices; for long-term or heavy inductive loads we recommend a pure sine wave inverter. Make sure the inverter’s rated continuous power exceeds the total wattage of the appliance(s) you intend to run. If operating several devices at once, add their wattages together. 2. For appliances with motors or compressors (inductive loads such as refrigerators, washing machines, hand drills, air conditioners, water pumps, air pumps, etc.), the starting/peak power can be much higher than the rated power. The instantaneous starting power of inductive loads is usually 3-10 times the rated power. For example, for a 300W air conditioner the starting power is generally 3 times-10 times and so an inverter with a peak power greater than 3000W is needed to bring it. 3. If you plan to run inductive-load appliances for extended periods, choose a pure sine wave inverter for reliable operation. This modified wave inverter may be damaged by induction cookers, welding machines, and can have issues with some LED or energy-saving bulbs—use national-standard bulbs to improve compatibility. 4. Car cigarette lighters can usually only support power within 100w. 5. Use the supplied battery cables for full rated output; spare fuses are provided only for accidental replacement. 6. Do not connect the inverter to grid power and avoid reversing positive/negative connections. Do not overload the inverter. How to choose the right inverter (SERVICE UPGRADE) - Confirm battery voltage (12V or 24V) and choose the matching inverter model. The battery voltage must match the inverter. - Battery capacity determines how much power you can draw. How much power can the battery bring = voltage of the battery * battery capacity * 0.8. Example: How much power can the battery of 12V60AH bring = 12 * 60 * 0.8 = 576W electrical appliances. - Understand the difference between resistive loads (computers, TVs, fans, lights) and inductive loads (fridge, drill, washing machine, water pump, microwave, oven, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, etc.). For inductive appliances, choose an inverter whose continuous power is 3-7 times higher than the appliance’s rated watts to handle startup surges.
