The Iridium Edge Solar is a compact, solar-powered satellite asset tracker designed for continuous monitoring of valuable equipment anywhere on the planet. Running exclusively on solar energy, this two-way device uses the Iridium Short Burst Data service to both send and receive messages globally. GPS coordinates are transmitted for real-time location tracking, while Bluetooth connectivity lets the unit exchange data with nearby devices and sensors for deeper system integration. Its Bluetooth interface supports connection to wireless sensors and local equipment for use in SCADA and other advanced monitoring setups. The device can be configured wirelessly and offers a service life of up to 10 years, making it well suited to remote or difficult-to-access installations.
