Portable video monitor tester for CCTV installation and troubleshooting. The unit sports a 5.0 inches high-resolution LCD (800 (RGB) x 480) with a wide viewing angle to make camera image quality easy to evaluate. Built-in Pelco-D / P PTZ control via the tester's RS485 interface enables on-screen control of pan, tilt and rotation (up, down, left, right) and lets you adjust zoom and aperture directly from the device. A multi-format video OUT/image generator is included to output standard color test patterns in common formats (e.g. PAL, NTSC). The tester also supplies DC12V (1A) power output to run a camera when an external power source is not available, which is useful for demos and field tests. To verify camera operation, connect the tester to the pickup device with the appropriate cable and inspect the incoming video feed.
