J-Tech Digital JTECH-AET-AS HDMI-ARC & S/PDIF Optical Audio Extender — Up to 492ft Over Single CAT5e/CAT6, CEC, Dolby Digital, DTS, PCM

The J-Tech Digital JTECH-AET-AS lets you send a digital audio feed from a display to an external sound system up to 492ft using a single CAT5e or CAT6 ethernet cable. It supports HDMI-ARC or S/PDIF Optical connections (selectable) and preserves the original digital audio with zero signal loss. Compatible audio formats include Dolby Digital, DTS and PCM. Note: ARC and SPDIF modes cannot operate at the same time — set the physical toggle switch on both the transmitter and receiver to the same position (“ARC” or “SPDIF”) for correct operation. The unit provides CEC pass-through to enable HDMI ARC functionality, but it is audio-only and does not transmit any video signal. Installation is straightforward: power both the transmitter and receiver with the included USB power cable and wall wart, then connect your HDMI or optical leads as needed (HDMI and optical cables are not included).
