The J-Tech Digital JTECH-EXD2 is an HDMI 2.0 audio extractor and converter that pulls audio from an HDMI feed while passing the video through to your display. It supports full 18Gbps bandwidth and delivers 4K resolution at 60Hz. Audio can be output via optical SPDIF or analog RCA, and the unit includes a downmix Dolby Digital decoder for compatibility with stereo or multichannel setups. HDCP 2.2 protected content is supported, and the device is compatible with HDR formats including HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Simple plug-and-play operation makes it useful for routing HDMI sources to displays and separate audio equipment without losing HDR or HDCP functionality.
