The JBL Club 964M is a 6"x9" three-way car speaker engineered to deliver higher sensitivity and fuller low-end from a compact footprint. Plus One Woofer Cone Architecture (US patent #7,548,631) increases the effective cone area compared with other speakers of the same size, resulting in stronger bass output, improved sensitivity and a more musical presentation. This model — along with the Club 44F, Club 54F, Club 64 and Club 864F — uses an edge-driven silk dome tweeter that provides an extended high-frequency response and smooth, non‑harsh highs at any playback level compared to common w-domes. The woofer cone is made from acoustically damped, UV-resistant polypropylene to keep sound clean and free of unwanted resonances while resisting the heat and humidity inside vehicles. A larger magnet assembly gives the Club series greater power-handling capability than many competitors in the same price range. Together, these design elements produce clear, dynamic sound with impactful low frequencies and detailed treble.
