Built from marine-grade materials & components, these speakers are engineered for harsh outdoor use and carry an IPx5 marine rating from the front of the speaker, with tuned performance for frequencies commonly heard in open-air environments. Eye-catching RGB illuminated cones ship capable of displaying seven colors out of the box when hard-wired to your vessel lighting, and you can access additional color options by connecting an external lighting controller. A one-piece polymer basket resists long-term exposure to the elements, while rubber surrounds and polypropylene cones provide greater durability and reliability compared to foam or treated paper. The bridge-mounted tweeter lets the front of the woofer cone be sealed to protect the motor structure. Weather-resistant silk dome tweeters, in a bridge-mounted arrangement, deliver smooth high-frequency response and improved power handling for highs and mids, resulting in more lifelike reproduction of vocals, cymbals, brass instruments and pianos.
