High-performance marine coaxial speakers built for true open-air boating environments. The JL Audio M6-650X-S-GmTi-i combines a DMA-optimized, long-excursion woofer with JL’s Transflective™ RGB LED lighting to deliver powerful sound and striking visual impact on deck. Rugged construction and marine-treated materials ensure reliable operation in corrosive, vibration-prone conditions. Highs are handled by a 0.8-inch pure silk dome tweeter that has been specially treated for marine use, giving clear, articulate high-frequency response even at elevated volumes. A multi-order true 2-way passive crossover is mounted inside the woofer chassis where it is protected from vibration and corrosion. The system also includes an automatic solid-state tweeter protection circuit to reduce the risk of tweeter damage. Power handling and amplification: Continuous (RMS) power handling is 75 W. While the M6-650-X coaxial will operate with as little as 25 W per channel, optimal performance is achieved with amplifiers providing 75–150 W of continuous power per channel. Lighting: The patent-pending Transflective™ RGB LED system produces a smooth illumination that shines through the woofer cone. Multiple preset colors are available, and adding an optional RGB controller expands the palette to thousands of color combinations. Cosmetic and fitment details include a gray metallic trim ring and a titanium sport grille. All M6 loudspeakers are manufactured at JL Audio’s Miramar, Florida facility using global components.
