JL Audio MVi-HUB JLid™-Comm & Optical Network Hub for MVi Amplifiers

Overview: The MVi-HUB from JL Audio lets you link multiple MVi-series amplifiers into a single, controllable network. It supports one designated “master” MVi amplifier plus up to five secondary MVi or MV amplifiers for synchronized operation and centralized control. Connections and control: The hub interfaces with your amplifiers through their JLid-COMM port using Cat5 Ethernet cables. A USB port is provided strictly for firmware updates. TüN software runs on the master MVi amplifier to manage the networked system, and amplifier status LEDs on the hub provide visual feedback. Construction and protection: Built with a cast-alloy chassis finished in marine-grade powder coat and fitted with corrosion-resistant hardware, the MVi-HUB is designed for demanding environments. When installed vertically with the connectors facing downward, it carries an IPX2 water-resistance rating (able to withstand an indirect splash). Installation notes and dimensions: Wiring is not included. Overall size is 11-1/4"W x 2-1/16"H x 4"D. The unit ships with two 1" stainless steel mounting screws and includes a connection guide plus an on-line registration card.
